Lucknow:Amid pressure building session started by the Hindu leaders and saints for construction of grand Ram Temple at Ayodhya, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), has called for an executive committee meeting here at Nadwa on July 15 to discuss the relevant issues, including Ayodhya and women-related matters.
Though the meeting is expected to endorse the old decision to abide by the Supreme Court decision on the Ayodhya matter, but the meeting could discuss the political and social atmosphere in view of the coming 2019 Lok Sabha election in the country.
AIMPLB member and one of the vocal executive committee member Maulana Khalid Rahid Firangi said here on Wednesday that the executive committee meeting of the Board is scheduled on July 15.
“It is a regular meeting held from time to time and several matters would be discussed in the meet, including Ayodhya,” he said.However, there is a speculation that the expulsion of Maulana Sayeed Salman Nadvi, could be revoked in this meeting but no officials were ready to confirm it.
