Azam Khan, a prominent leader of the Samajwadi Party and former minister, has been hospitalized in the surgery department of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi after his health deteriorated. He was taken to the hospital at 3 a.m. and his family is reportedly by his side.
According to the hospital, Khan’s condition is stable and his case is being treated as a Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) case. He has been facing health problems for a few months now, with similar issues occurring in August, May, and September of the previous year.
In September 2022, Azam Khan had a heart attack and was admitted to Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. He underwent angioplasty surgery to address a blockage found in one of his heart’s veins. The hospital conducted a medical examination on him. During this time, Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, visited Azam Khan at the hospital.
