The development of a mosque includes gigantic religious and moral responsibility. A vital principle in Islam is that a mosque, being the place of worship, ought to be constructed on undisputed land. Any shape of unlawful interest- be it unlawfully received land or cash tainted by corruption- renders the act of worship within that space questionable. Prayers provided in such mosques may not be acceptable as the fundamental inspiration of the mosque itself is not in alignment with Islamic concepts. Both land and assets used for the construction have to be legitimate and unfastened from any form of exploitation or controversy. Only while the development adheres to ethical and legal norms, the mosque can serve as an area of peace and spirituality- one of the fundamental characters of a mosque. In each Sanjauli and Mandi, the construction of mosques on allegedly illegal land has been the coronary artery of the controversy. While this has caused widespread unrest, it is critical to appreciate the positive steps taken by the mosque management committees. Recognizing the capacity for communal anxiety, the committees have taken steps to address the concerns raised by protestors, agreeing to demolish the illegal portions of the structures. By taking these steps, the mosque management committees have shown a willingness to uphold legal standards and defend the delicate social fabric from communal hatred. In addition to addressing the issue of unlawful construction, there may be a broader want to admire local customs and sensibilities. Communities have to be considerate of the cultural and religious character of the regions they inhabit. In the case of Shimla and Mandi, there have been concerns about imparting refuge to outsiders, especially those whose presence may disrupt the existing social harmony.
