Al Haqeeqa
Humanity/human values find their ultimate inspiration and source in the Holy Quran which is a code for fulfilling and successful existence for all mankind for all times; and this code is everlasting (2:256), detailed (6:114), consistent (10:64) and complete (6:115; 10:57), besides proclaiming: “Hold on to this rope of Allah (Quran) steadfastly, and do not split yourself into factions” (3:103). It is also revealed that the message in this regard is not new; it has been given earlier by other Prophets including Abraham, Moses, Jesus and of their ilk. In origin, the God promulgated, one Deen (way of life), which was subdivided into factions (religions), due to emotions, needs, rivalry, egos by the people in later days. However, the Prophet was deputed to remove confusion and schisms, and to mould individuals into a community (Ummah) based on humanity, human bonding and human values. The human race would be humiliated and ruined (3:111) if they created hatred, divide, violence, fragmenting into different blocs and factions (7:168). On other hand, Allah promises eternal rewards for those who follow the code (3:107).
“Discord in my Ummah is beneficial (Rahmah)”, indicates that the reasoning, contemporary interpretation aiming to benefit for humanity as well as human beings, moulding them towards universal peace and inter-faith harmony are permitted in Islam.
