Srinagar: Education officers run drive to enrol dropouts, students of Anganwadi in schools

Srinagar: As many as 67 students were enrolled in government-run schools as a result of a Mega Enrollment Drive held in Hawal area of Srinagar district in Indian-administered Kashmir on Saturday.

The drive was conducted under the guidance of Mr Manzoor Ahmad Kumar, Chief Education Officer, Srinagar and Ms Tahira Hilali, Principal, District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Srinagar

Mr Kumar interacted with the parents, students and other community members and assured them that government schools are providing the best education and are well equipped with latest technologies.

He emphasised that the aim of these drives is to ensure enrollment of the children from home, Anganwadi Centres and dropouts in schools.

Mr  Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad, Zonal Education Officer and Rubeena Fazili, HOD, DIET were also present during the drive.
