Tolerance, pluralism, interfaith harmony: The core of Islam

Against a false campaign and misconception by vested interest terming Islam as a ‘religion of violence’ and Muslims as savages, the tenets of Islam as well as teachings of Prophet reiterate peaceful co-existence, benevolence, tolerance and pluralistic society, the pre-requisites of global peace and prosperity, which is evident from the following quotes from Quran, Ahadith and the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam/SAW, Messiah of Peace):

All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, we make no distinction between any of His messengers” (2:285) & ‘For every community there is a Messenger’ (10:47).

Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors.” 92:190) & “And if they incline to peace, then incline to it.” (8:61)

Allah loves those who act justly.” (60:8)

According to a quoting from Hadith, the Prophet himself had enunciated: “If your neighbour is not safe from your harm, you cannot reach the degree of being a “Momin”.

Allah ordered His Prophet to forgive the people their misbehavior (towards him)’.

Thus, there is a need to counter/refute radicals/extremists justifying their heinous acts against humanity in the name of ‘false Jihad’, and to simultaneously spread above messages of ‘true Islam’ in order to restore/strengthen global order.
