MSF takes out protest march against human rights violations in Syria

New Delhi: The Muslim Students Federation took out a protest march on February 27 at Jamia Millia Islamia campus to express solidarity with Syrian citizens who are killed in the name of peace by the Syrian military. They raised slogans against Russia and US. Students held placards and raised slogans during the protest march taken out under the banner of MSF.

Addressing the students on the occasion MSF national secretary and student leader Atyab Khan lamented on the criminal silence of world media on human rights violations continued in Syria. He claimed, “United Nations has totally failed to stop killing of innocent children in Syria”. He announced nation-wide protest by MSF, demanding the Indian government to raise this issue in United Nations.

MSF Jamia general secretary Mohammed Amanullah said America and Russia are targeting innocent Muslims and the world media and human rights people are silent.

At the end of the protest march, MSF Jamia conducted a collective prayer for the sake of Syrian people.
