Muslim women should excel in science: Najma Heptulla

New Delhi: A 4-day workshop was being organised by the Ohio State University of America to create awareness regarding science and social studies among women, at CIT Conference Hall, Jamia Millia Islamia.

Addressing the inaugural session of the workshop, Manipur governor and Chancellor Jamia Millia Islamia, Najma Heptulla expressed happiness on the conduct of the seminar and said that education is the basic necessity of life. She urged Muslim women to excel in science studies.

Vice Chancellor Jamia Millia Islamia, Prof. Talat Ahmed, Programme director Prof. Sultana Naheed, Dr. Caroline and Dr. Anil Pradhan also addressed on the occasion.
