Noreen Rahman Borooah, topper of Don Bosco School, Pan Bazar, Guwahati in the CBSE’s Class 12th examination is also a talented Bharatnatyam dancer. Noreen who did her ‘Arangetram’ – a debut on-stage performance of a student of Indian classical dance and music, just before starting the Class 12 final exam this year, says that dancing can help you to maintain a positive approach during your preparation and also during your exams.
Speaking to Awaz-The Voice Noreen said that dance like Bharatnatyam helps to control anxiety level and prevent panic setting in a student before the exam.
“For a higher level of concentration, one may prefer to sit and prepare in isolation. After spending hours in confinement for a higher level of attention, the student may start to feel stressed. Dance is one of the best ways to relieve your stress instantly,” Noreen said.
