Members of the Pasmanda Muslim Samaj Utthan Samiti Sangh offered a chadar at the Dargah of Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya and Amir Khusro and also said special prayers for the success of team India against Australia in the final of the ICC One day International men’s World Cup to top played to the Narendra Modi stadium of Ahmedabad, Gujarat on Sunday.
National President of the association Mohammad Irfan Ahmed said that “our team has a record of winning all the matches in the world cup so far. We hope and pray that Team India will showcase its great potential against Australia in Sunday. The magic of Mohammad Shami and Kohli will work and once again India will take away the World Cup.”
Speaking with journalists on the eve of the final match, he said that under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, and earlier Virat Kohli our team is playing great cricket and proving its mettle. “We prayed for the victory of team India at Ahmedabad.”
Expressing happiness, Irfan said that today our country is making good progress in every field, ever since Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi’s government has come to power, the country has been continuously moving on to become a world leader.
He requested all Indians to pray India’s success in the final match against Australia so that we can celebrate the victory again and double our happiness.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to be present in today’s Cricket World Cup final. PM Modi reached Ahmedabad on Sunday evening. It is also said that his Australian counterpart may also fly to Ahmedabad to watch the world cup finals.
Chief Ministers of two to three states are also expected to be present.
Among those who prayed for India’s victory at the Dargah, Mohammad Sarfaraz Ali, Azad Noorani, Mohammad Dilshad Qureshi, Mohammad Sagir Ahmed, Haji Nisar Ahmed etc. were also present.
