Patna: Despite COVID-19, Rahmani Program of Excellence has once again excelled in the JEE Mains Exam 2020 as its over 170 students have declared eligible for the admission in engineering and technology courses. The other remarkable feature of the Program is its student Rehan Khan achieved the All India Rank of 311 and General EWS rank of 36, while Mohammad Jabir achieved the category rank of 86 and Zishan Khatib 344 respectively, Junaid scored 100 percentile on Physics.
As many as 170 of Rahmani boys and girls have qualified the grueling national Joint Entrance Examination for the year 2020 and exceeded its own performance of 2019. A good number of these students will have a seat of their choice at one of the Institutes of National Importance. Fahad Rahmani, the CEO of Rahmani Program of Excellence, said the data is still being processed and analyzed.
He said the team at Rahmani Program of Excellence is also jubilant, given the difficulties they faced during this COVID-19 pandemic. The closure of schools and various centers created a feeling of confusion, lack of interest, and hopelessness in all sections of the society, including Rahmani institutes.
They say that since April, they have moved their instructions online, ensured that the majority of students had at least a borrowed phone on which they can attend lectures, and provided regular counseling sessions. Despite all of these efforts, they report that there was a noticeable lag in the performance in a good number of students. Decent devices, stable internet connectivity, and electricity remained a challenge throughout the process.
The Joint Entrance Examination, known as the JEE Mains, is conducted twice every year by the National Testing Agency or the NTA. Approximately ten lac students participate in each JEE test session; however, about eight lac students participated in the delayed September session. Around two hundred and forty-five thousand public and private engineering seats are available through this test, and about thirty thousand are considered premium seats belonging to the Institutes of National Importance. The INI category was established by an act of the Indian Parliament to identify and provide special funding to educational organizations vital for the continued success of Indian innovation. Successful students enjoy top-class education, most adequate research facilities, international research opportunities all at practically free or highly subsidized fee structures.
Rahmani Program of Excellence, a unit of Rahmani Foundation, has been successfully replacing educational hopelessness in the community with the courage to dream big, all the while demonstrating its proven method of success. Ameer-e-Shariat Maulana Mohammad Wali Rahmani sahib, who is the founder of this nation-wide program, credits success to the consistent guidance and untiring effort of Abhayanand (Ex. DGP Bihar), and to sincere and continuous efforts of center leadership that comprises the faculty, management, and staff. He maintains that this result could not have been realized had the students and their parents not partnered with us, especially given our different model of education and training that seeks to transform students into learners.
