In a farmers’ convention organized by the BJP, Union Minister Kailash Choudhary, MoS (Agriculture), emphasized the significance of saying ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ for those residing in India, stating, “If you want to live in India, you have to say ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai.’”
Choudhary said that the language used by public representatives in Hyderabad and suggested that a “lesson should be taught” to them in the future, advocating for the establishment of a government with nationalistic principles in the state.
He went on to declare, “Only those who say ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ have a place in the country,” firmly emphasizing the importance of patriotic expressions.
Furthermore, Choudhary said, “That’s why I would like to say, if there is any such person who does not say ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and does not have faith in Hindustan and Bharat and keeps faith in ‘Pakistan Zindabad,’ he should go to Pakistan. There is no need here.”
Highlighting the necessity of a nationalist ideology in the region, he underscored the importance of strengthening the country through collective efforts.
The farmers’ convention, held by the BJP, was organized to mark the recent approval of the terms of reference of the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal, which will govern the division of river water between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
In addition, Choudhary commented on the opposition alliance naming itself INDIA, accusing the Congress of stealing names, including Mahatma Gandhi’s, and now the name “INDIA.” He asserted that such attempts to “hide” their history could not conceal the “evil deeds” of the UPA government.
Choudhary praised the approval of the Krishna tribunal’s terms of reference, emphasizing the importance of water for farmers. He commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to farmers and highlighted various pro-farmer initiatives by the government, including increased agricultural budgets, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, nano urea fertilizer provision, and agricultural infrastructure funding.
He also noted that under the Modi regime, the country has witnessed rapid progress in various sectors and called for the formation of a nationalistic government in Telangana.
