Bareilly DM forced to remove ‘anti -Hindutva’ Facebook post; Writes ‘Muslims are our brother, our blood’

New Delhi : Facing pressure from different quarters the District Magistrate of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Raghvendra Vikram Singh was forced to remove his 28th January Facebook post  in which he said  “Now it has become a trend for some to first enter Muslim localities by force, raise anti-Pakistan slogans and then create ruckus. Why, brothers? Are they Pakistanis?”

‘Clarifying’  his earlier post he wrote   “he had hoped it will lead to academic discussion but “unfortunately it had taken a different turn.”

After his ‘ anti-Hindutva Facebook comment the DM  was trolled on social media. Many people showered abusive comments on him under the post. Ultimately Raghvendra Vikram Singh remove that post and  now wrote the following comment on his Facebook  PM on Tuesday: “Muslims are our brothers, our blood, our DNA is same…the sooner we understand it the better for our state and the country.”

Rajesh Mishra , Bithri Chainpur MLA from Bareilly has threatened to take the matter to PM Modi and UP CM Yogi and complain against DM Raghvendra Vikram Singh.
